Who Are We

"How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in Unity"

Psalm 133:1

Our Vision

To work with local churches to start a fire of fellowship, worship, prayer & teaching around unity.
Meeting together across denominations and from all areas to build up, unify and grow.

Our Values

  • Prayer

We value prayer as a part of all our meetings. We give time to pray together as a large group, pray in small groups and to pray as individuals. We create a safe place to pray into personal concerns anyone may have and encourage people to bring things to God in prayer.

  • Fellowship
We believe that fellowship is important. We spend time getting to know each other, sharing food and drinks together. Building relationships between local churches and those not yet part of a church. We welcome everyone to our meetings no matter who you are.
  • Worship
We believe that God is worthy of our worship and seek to bring our best to him in our meetings. We recognise that different churches worship in different ways and so we ask different local worship teams to lead us each month, this means our worship style is never the same and we celebrate the variety that this brings.
  • Teaching
The Filling Station IS NOT A CHURCH. This is an important statement for us and reflects that type of teaching we bring in our meetings. We don’t seek to unpack scripture to train or correct as may be found in a local church context. Our teaching is aimed more towards encouragement and equipping. The goal of our teaching is to fire people up ready to head back to their local church to do the work God calls them to in the places they live.

Our Team

We have a large team of volunteers who make our work possible. This list is by no means exhaustive but we hope will show you some of the friendly faces you might meet when you join us for our monthly meetings.
